TOUR NEWS

The 2005 RNO-Grove Street Winery Summer Concert Series was a resounding success. The Lincoln Theater debut in Napa, California led by Carlo Ponti was praised as “one of the finest performances of the year”.

IMAGINE DOUBLES LAST YEAR'S RECORD
The annual Imagine Auction raised over $2.5 million for children's charities in the US and Russia. That is over twice last year's amount!

Russian Wind Quintet WOWS OSAKA, TWO COASTS
The Russian Wind Quintet took top honors in one of the world's most prestigious chamber music competitions:

RECORDINGS NEWS
- This summer, the RNO released "Young America," Choral Works by Gordon Getty.
- “Russian Violin Concertos” (Julia Fischer, soloist; conducted by Yakov Kreizberg) was Editor's Choice in Gramophone magazine and Winner of the 2005 Echo Klassik Award as “Concerto Record of the Year.”
- “Chopin and Loewe Piano Concertos” (Mari Kodama, soloist; conducted by Kent Nagano) was named a “Best of 2004” pick by Audiophile Audition.
